We are truly overwhelmed and grateful for the support of everyone who participated in our August take-out meal fund raiser. We served over 100 curb-side meals. Thank you to everyone who supported us with monetary donations. Because of the generosity of our community and neighboring towns we are able to provide an enjoyable place for our patrons.
We have also added several new books to our collection. They include: 28 Summers, Daddy’s Girls, the Lost and Found Bookshop, The Only Good Indians, Peace Talks, What You Wish For, Glitch and the Summer House.
Our used Book Shop is open anytime the library is open or by appointment. We have lots of good used books. Hours are Monday through Friday-3-5:30 p.m. and on Saturday 10-12 noon.
The Book Club will meet on October 7th. They are reading “The Glass Magician” by Caroline Stevermer. They meet at 5:30 p.m. Come join them!
The Manhattan NCKL book van was here on August 7th with lots of new books.
There were 381 WIFI users for the month of July.
The Book Club is reading “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” by Heather Morris for the month of August. Their September book choice is “One Perfect Summer” by Brenda Novak. In the following months, they will be reading – October-“The Glass Magician” , November-“Always The Last to Know”, December-“The Girl with the Golden Scissors”. Come join the group, they meet the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.
