The library will be observing Children’s Book Week April 30th through May 6th. Children may come to the library to pick up a packet for their family to help celebrate Book Week. included in the packets will be search-a-word puzzles, coloring sheets, crayons, pencils and book marks. Also included in the packet will be information about our Summer Reading Program , A to Z Reading Challenge and children’s story hour times for this summer. This year’s summer reading program theme is “Libraries Rock”.
The Prairie Earth Tours from Emporia will be visiting the library on April 10th. They will eat lunch at the Flint Hills Market and Bakery, On April 14th the East Side Welcome Wagon Group from Wichita will be visiting and eating lunch at the Harvey House Museum. Welcome to these two groups!
The community book club will meet on April 4th at 5:30 p.m. They are reading ”Strangers in Budapest” by Jessica Keener. Come join the group!
