LIBRARY NEWS AND NOTES

We are happy to report our library board secretary, Susan Reid has been appointed to serve on the North Central Kansas Library Executive Committee to represent our library. Congratulations to Susan.

                Our Summer Reading program has concluded.   We ended the last day with a brunch for the kids attending the last session.  We thank Jessica Inlow for all her hard work this summer for this event and to the kids who attended.  Prizes were awarded to the winners and to those who participated.

                The Manhattan Book Van was here last week with lots of good books. 

                The October Kansas 250 Book Shelf display will be Horror, Murder and Suspense.

                The October book club selection will Unknown by Riley Sager.  Book Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30.  Everyone is invited.

                Our 2027 library board officers are: President-Brittany Morningsky, Vice President-Deb Shipman, Secretary-Susan Reid and Treasrurer is Kathy Inlow. Library director is Mary Jane Grimmett. We also have board openings if anyone would like to serve on the board.

Just a reminder the library has three computers for the public to use with a printer attached.  And we have added to our magazine selection for check out.  Our Library is here for you to use, it’s your community library that we are very proud of!
