The library is looking for a library aide to work on Saturday mornings 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Applicants must be 16 or older. There is a possibility of more hours in the future. Applications can be picked up at the City Building or Library.
Remember our new extended hours, we are open in addition to our regular hours, 5:30-7:30 Wednesday evenings and 10-12 noon on Friday mornings. Come see us!
Plans are being made for another drive-up fund raiser meal. The tentative date is April 12th and on the menu will be lasagna and chicken fettuccine, garlic bread, salad and dessert. Orders will need to be submitted by April 8th. Watch Facebook and the April Crossroads or more information.
We are excited to announce a new children’s program just for you! Book Buddies will be starting March 1st or shortly thereafter. Invitations are being mailed to all children in the community for your participation.

Book Club is reading Midnight Library by Matt Haig in March and Blue Tattoo for the month of April. Come join the group at 5:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month.

There were 369 WIFI users during the month of February.
Because of community support at the library we have started history project in which we would like to record the tales, memories, history and pictures of our community past and present.
Do you have a connections to Florence? Are you a part of Florence’s history? Florence will be celebrating their 150th birthday and the library will be celebrating its 100th birthday. We would like to put together a collection of stories, pictures or really anything that you would like to share for this occasion. You can comment on our Facebook pages, get in touch with one of our board members or drop off your stories and memories at the library. Thank you for your help in making this project one that everyone will enjoy.
