As we start 2019 we should remember the first day of the year is the first blank page of a 365 page book, write a good one! We encourage you to keep on reading, it’s one of the most marvelous adventures you can have!
January 2nd @ 5:30 p.m. Community Book Club
January 9th @ 5:30 p.m. Board Meeting
January 14th @ 5 p.m. Soup supper and Bingo night
Our next fund raiser will be a soup supper followed by bingo on January 14th at 5 p.m. at the library. Profits will be used to purchase an outdoor banner.
Thanks to everyone who attended our last fund raiser in December. Due to your generosity the library was able to purchase new books as a gift for children in the community as a Christmas present from the Board of Trustees and Director.
We are happy to report we have two new computers we received from a Tech Grant from NCKL. We also used funds from our 2018 Extended Service grant to purchase new movies.
The Book Club will be reading ” The Kansas Cookbook, Recipes from the Heartland” by Frank Carey and Jayni Naas. We will be choosing a recipe from the cookbook to bring to a meal we will eat together. Everyone is welcome to attend this fun night!
We welcomed visitors from Overland Park and Buhler, Kansas and Lincoln, Nebraska.
There were 496 WIFI users for the month of December.
